See, they want the money.
They want the time-freedom.
They want the financial independence.
But they say ‘no‘ to your business because they don’t want to do what they see YOU having to do to get them in the business.
They don’t want to prospect.
They don’t want to do 1-on-1 presentations.
They don’t want to do home parties.
They don’t want to do hotel meetings.
They don’t want to make lists of people they know.
They don’t want to chase friends and family
They don’t want to strike up conversations with strangers.
And that’s why they say ‘no’.
Because no matter how great your company, your product or your pay plan…
…they’re not going to say ‘yes’ if they think they have to work like it’s 1975.
The “sales pitch” is supposed to go here but I don’t have one…

Yeah, right.
I don’t have a ‘system’ to sell you. And anyone who tells you that there’s a “cookie-cutter system” that’s going to do all the work for you is lying.

Well today in this post I am going to share a simple method to get more people to buy from you!
Let’s be honest, if you have a home or small business and you are selling a product that nobody’s buying then you wouldn’t be in business very long.
I don’t want that to happen to you!
What I am about to tell you works online and offline regardless of the business model that you are currently working in – direct sales, network marketing, real estate, insurance or some other brick and mortar business.
So how do you get people to buy from you?
It’s called the Know, Like and Trust (KLT) method.
Get People To Know You
If you want to get people to buy from you they must get to know you.
You see your future customers or business partners need to know where they can find you online or offline.
Do you have a blog or website?
Do you have a profile on the popular social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or Linkedin?
What are some other ways their communication preferences?
Knowing actually goes both ways….not only do people need to get to know you, but you also need to get to know the people.
So if you want to get people to buy from you then you must also take the time to get to know them!
Who is your target audience?
What are their specific concerns or problems (pain points)?
What are some things you have in common? (books, movies, hobbies etc)
Get People To Like You
How do you get people to like you?
Well imagine this. Let’s say you were approached by two salespeople with the exact same product and the same price.
One person comes across as boring and impersonal. The other is very charming, interesting, and makes you feel good.
Which one would you rather do business with?
The latter, right?
I know that I wouldn’t want to buy anything from a person that I felt I didn’t have a connection to on some kind of level.
So in order to get a person to like you must be able to make a good enough impression that they feel comfortable talking to you or being around you.
Once you establish a connection then overtime you will need to work on building a solid relationship with that people.
Be nice and courteous
Be visible, open and transparent
Be real and authentic
Be generous and give without expecting anything in return
It wasn’t until I adopted a “servant attitude” that things began to turn around for me and my business.
I learned to provide my followers and potential prospects plenty of value.
All you have to do is identify an area you see them struggling in and give them some helpful advice on how to overcome that particular struggle or issue.
The more someone likes you, the more they begin to trust you
Get People To Trust You
The more someone trusts you, the more they will open up and discuss their problems and their needs with you. Once you get to this point then you can realistically make a product or service recommendation for something you’re selling, if in fact, it is a good fit.
When you’re honest enough to turn down a potential sale, you’re actually indirectly building a strong relationship that just might result in a lifelong customer.
How do you get people to trust you?
There are many, many, many ways that you can get people to trust you.
Be honest with them at all times
Be respectful – treat people the way you would want to be treated, remember the golden rule!
Be a good listener – what does your prospect want or need. You won’t know if you do all the talking
Be accessible – when people know that they can get access to you they will be more comfortable with you
Be empathetic – people will trust you more when they feel you understand them.
Connect with people you have things in common with i.e. children, married, pet lovers, etc. It’s much easier to get people to trust with you when they can relate to you because you have something in common
Deliver on your promises – do what you say you are going to do
Add value – value is what people are willing to pay for. Keep doing great work that adds value and others will reward you with trust.
Always remember people do business with people they know, like and trust (KLT).

Earlier this year Facebook introduced a new feature called Facebook Live.
What is Facebook Live?
Facebook Live is a live-streaming video capability. By tapping the live stream icon, a user can start broadcasting video live from their smartphone, and write an optional description for the event.
Understanding Facebook Live is key if you’re an affiliate, internet, network or social media marketer; even if you don’t plan on using it.
Video marketing is become increasingly popular and will be vital to your success going forward as an entrepreneur.
74 percent of all Internet traffic in 2017 will be video. Also studies show that using the word “Video” in the subject line of an email can increase open rates by 19 percent, click-through rates by 65 percent and reduce un-subscribers by 26 percent. According to Twitter, videos and photos get the most retweets.”
Now I know the #1 reason most people avoid video marketing is FEAR.
Not everyone is comfortable in front of a camera especially if they know it is broadcasting to a “LIVE” audience even if its just friends and family.
However you can not afford to procrastinate on this issue any longer if you want to stand out from your competition.

Facebook Live will notify your followers when you go live with a broadcast. Users have to actually click on the “Subscribe” button in order to opt out of these notifications. If you want to attract more regular “followers” on the platform be consistent. Try broadcasting around the same time. Whether its daily or once a week having a predicable time that you broadcast will help maximize engagement and attract new followers.
2. Gain More Exposure
If you have not been paying attention, organic reach on Facebook is way down (unless you pay to play—Paid Ads). Organic reach for Pages is generally in the single digits [anything close to 10% reach you are doing well].
However, video posts are getting 3x the organic free exposure to fans as any other post. Their algorithm loves Facebook Live video and live videos are positioned relatively high in fans’ newsfeed.

In today’s post I wanted to share with you my thoughts on the importance of attending live network marketing events.
Over the years I have attended many network marketing events. Its very hard to put into words the feeling you get when you see a packed stadium or conference center full of motivated entrepreneurs at a live event!
It’s like attending a family reunion!
The people come from all over the world, some successful, some not, but all of them staying the course and not giving up on their dreams!
You can’t help but be inspired, motivated and return home re-energized after the event is over.
If you’re not convinced yet that you absolutely must attend live events, here are 5 key reasons why you should:
Reason #1 – To Meet Top Earners
This is your chance to meet and make connections with top earners in your company or within your niche.
There is something really amazing about being able to rub elbows with the top producers in the business.
They have been where you are and they can help you get to where they are. Take advantage of this opportunity and go learn from them.
Discover what you are doing right and what you might be doing wrong!
If your sponsor is not helping you, this your chance to find a mentor who will take you under their wing and coach you all the way to success.
After all who better to tell you how to make money in the business than the people who have actually done it?
Reason #2 – To Make New Connections
That’s right the name of the game is network marketing. And what better way to “network” and make connections with new people than to attend a live event!
Depending on the type of event there could be hundreds or even thousands of like minded individuals there.
When you get a room filled with like minded motivated, and committed people something magical happens!”
Whenever I attend a live event I make sure to meet as many new people as I possibly can. It is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and form partnerships with other entrepreneurs!
One conversation with the ‘right’ person can spark an idea or a strategy that takes your business from $100 a month to $10,000 practically overnight…
One partnership for me resulted in an extra 5,000 people on my email list…
Besides you never know who you might meet or sit next to that could be the next top earner or future industry leader.
It only makes sense to connect with these rising stars.
A relationship you build today could turn into a lifelong friendship or a super business partnership for many years.
The friendships and relationships I have made have been through attending live events are priceless.
I have found that serious entrepreneurs understand the value of attending live events so it is not unusual to run into the same entrepreneurs at different network marketing and training events outside of their primary business opportunity.
Also at live events I finally get to meet some people that I have only spoke to on the phone or corresponded with through email but never actually met in person.
Reason #3 – To Hear Special Announcements
At every event I have been to the company leadership has always made some special announcement.
Sometimes they unveiled a new product or product line,
Sometimes they announce an update to the compensation plan,
Sometimes they announce their expansion into a new market/country.
These announcements always energize the audience and by attending the live event you hear all the details first before the rest of the field.
And more importantly you have an opportunity to take early action and ride the wave of momentum coming out of the event!
At the event you may also buy discounted marketing material and/or promotional merchandise that is only available to attendees.
Reason #4 – To Get Exclusive Training
At every event that I have been to there’s training designed only for those that purchased event tickets. The training could be in the form of workshop or boot camp led by the top earners in the industry or company.
The event organizers know that people are travelling from great distances to attend the event and many are sacrificing their money and time too, so they wan the event to be first class.
This is why they ask the speakers to present something original that has not been shared already with their organization or in a previous training that can be found on the internet.
It could be a new recruiting strategy or the latest lead generation or marketing tactics/ techniques.
I always pick up a few gold nuggets at the live event that I have not heard or seen anywhere else!
So be prepared to take plenty of notes then share them in a blog post or email them to your team members that could not make it.
Reason #5 – To Build Your Business
One of the greatest opportunities you will ever have to build your business is through attending live events.
And if you do it just right, it can help you build your business fast!
The result?
An instant boost in your teams productivity which can mean thousands of dollars for you.
All leaders understand the importance of bringing as many people on their team as possible to events.
Your teammates will here inspirational stories, feel the excitement and realize that ordinary people can achieve extra-ordinary results.
When they return home they will be motivated and double their efforts. Some will go on to become leaders on your team and a few will become top earners.
If you are new invite anyone and everyone you can to immediately jump start your business.
It’s a great opportunity for you to sit back and let the experts do the work by generating interest for you.
Making the investment with your time, money, and energy to attend networking/marketing events can prove to have the largest ROI (return on investment) in the long term.

How to turn a prospects ‘NO’ into a ‘YES’
Here is the TRUTH
About 90% of the people you talk to about your business, will Never join your business or buy your products or services.
If you have been in the industry longer than 30 days then you already know that’s a fact.
Are you tired of hearing ‘NO’ ?
When you hear “NO’ all the time it can really get discouraging. In fact it’s one of the reasons why so many newbies give up or quit their business within the first 90 days after joining their network marketing company.
If your prospects are constantly telling you they’re not interested, then it’s probably because they don’t see your value.
Your value is the reason why a customer buys from you or the reason why they will join your business. And if you can’t clearly provide any value, then one thing is certain…you can expect your prospect to continue telling you ‘NO’.
How to create and add value for your prospects
Start by answering these important questions about your product:
Does your product solve a major pain point or address a specific “hot button” issue (e.g. back pain, credit card debt, difficulty recruiting, sponsoring, making sales, generating leads, etc.?
What is the end result of using your solution to solve the hot button issue? (benefit)
How has your product solved the same hot button issue for your prospect’s competitors?
Once you have your answers, then your job shifts to becoming a problem solver. Sometimes your product is not the best solution for a particular customer. A good marketer doesn’t approach a sale with the preconceived notion that this customer must want what you’re selling.
Offer some free tips or advice that addresses their issue. If your product or service can resolve your prospects need or pain then find a way to work them into your conversations with prospects.
Be direct and make sure you clearly state the benefits of your product/service. By mentioning these benefits early and often in the sales conversation, you gain the prospect’s interest.
Do it right, and you’ll be rewarded with your prospect’s undivided attention.
Do it wrong, and you’ll continue to hear ‘NO’ and lose out on potentially huge sales.
But what if you could start turning a NO into a… YES ?
Would that interest you?
Lets face it, most of your prospects will say ‘NO’ to your primary business opportunity..
…but you need to have a way to make money from your prospects even if they don’t buy your products or join your primary business opportunity.
Why?

If you have been in the direct sales industry or network marketing for more than a day then you have probably encountered one or more excuses a prospect will give you for not joining your business opportunity.
Do any of these sound familiar?
“It sounds great, but I just don’t have enough money to get started.”
“Is this some pyramid scheme?”
“I can’t sell.”
“I don’t want to give you my social security or credit card info.”
“I’m not a people person.”
“This just isn’t my thing.”
“But what about this other company that sells the same stuff cheaper?”
“I’ll have to ask my wife/husband before I join.”

Well don’t panic my friend, you’re dealing with the age-old sales dilemma of overcoming objections.
In my opinion objections are really nothing more than stupid excuses.
Every network marketer at some point while selling his or her product and recruiting others will encounter these common objections.
You have probably even been taught by your company a number of scripts and techniques so you can better handle these excuses or objections.
Most network marketers are taught by their upline or sponsor to use the “feel – felt – found method”.
It goes something like this,
Say, “oh, I understand how you feel. I felt the same way when I got started…but here’s what I found out.
For example:
Objection: “I’m too busy, I don’t have enough time to do this!”
Response: “I understand how you feel. I felt the same way when I got started. I was teaching full time, and working this business very part time. But that’s not uncommon. We’ve found that most people work this business on very part time hours – working it into your everyday life on your own time! In just about 10-15 hours per week.”
You might have attended conference calls each week so you can learn how your sponsor masterfully counters each excuse or purchased books or courses on answering objections so you can turn the situation around.
If you have, AWESOME! I can totally respect your work ethic and commitment.
But I want to tell you a secret, which no one has probably ever revealed to you…

The best way to handle a prospects common objections is to never have to handle them at all!
That’s right!
I never deal with ignorant questions and excuses like the ones above anymore.

I only talk to people who know what the rules of the game are.
Who already know what’s required to succeed in network marketing.
