If you’re in network marketing and you want to take your business to the next level then you should absolutely know what attraction marketing is and be actively taking steps to implement it.

Attraction marketing is what separates the mediocre network marketers barely making any money to the top recruiters making millions of dollars a year.

If you’re tired of chasing your friends and family members, posting fliers on phone poles, cold calling leads, and handing out business cards and still unable to make one sale or recruit more than a handful of people then you really need to take time to understand what this is all about.

What is Attraction Marketing?

Attraction marketing (also known as Magnetic Sponsoring or Content marketing) is providing a specific group of people (a niche) with valuable information and resources in order to help them find solutions to a challenge they are struggling with.

Attraction Marketing involves branding yourself as an expert or leader within the network marketing industry.

In other words you become the expert at identifying a problem then providing your target audience with practical solutions to help them overcome that obstacle or problem.

It’s that simple.

When attraction marketing is done correctly it will allow you to become the “hunted rather than the hunter.”

Attraction marketing is for network marketers that prefer to work smarter, instead of harder. It is for the few who want to become leaders in this industry. Who want to walk across the stage, and who want to earn 7-figures. Who want to build a life-long business, instead of an opportunity, and for those who value truth over hype.

In order for attraction marketing to work you will need some sort of marketing system.

The attraction marketing system that I use includes this blog. I created this blog to add value and to help solve the issues that people have within my niche.

The Importance of Displaying A Real Profile Picture

Are you using social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus etc. to promote your products, services or business opportunity but do NOT display your profile picture?

Perhaps you are one of those that uses the default (blank) picture?

Why?

What Are you hiding from?

Unfortunately I see people doing this a lot but did you know that it could be hurting your business?

Without a real profile picture NO ONE pays attention to you!

A real profile photo helps increase your engagements.

Not an avatar!

Not a picture of money, fancy cars or houses!

Not a puppy, kitten or a group of your best friends!

People want to connect with a real person, they want to connect with you!

So if you are a real person then use a real photo of yourself, it doesn’t have to be a professional/studio photo but a nice casual head shot will do. And lose the fancy hat, baseball cap, those awesome RayBan sunglasses or anything else that competes for our attention in the photo.

A real profile photo makes it easier to recognize you.

What if I am going to meet you in person for the first time, having seen a photo of you will make me feel more comfortable and confident I can spot you in the crowd.

Similarly, if we’ve met in person and you send me an invitation to connect online, seeing your photo will help me remember you.

Also a great way to help your own branding is to use the same photo for all of your online profiles. Use the same photo on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, YouTube channel, your blog, etc. It will make it much easier for people to recognize you right away.

But I just don’t want to publicly display my picture

Think about it like this…

Would you join a business opportunity under a person that has never shown themselves?

Would you hand over your credit card to purchase a product or service from a invisible stranger?

Do you attend an event or party that you were invited to by a complete stranger?

I personally don’t entertain invites, events or friend request from anyone that does not display a real profile photo. Taking it one step further if your profile page is blank i.e. doesn’t include the basic description of who you are and what you do, I’ll delete or ignore your request.

People that don’t display a profile photo are normally…

1) Not very active on on social media (check how frequently they post),

2) They have a reason to hide their face – SCAMMER!

Yes, SPAMMERS ARE REAL and SCAMMERS DO EXIST!

What About A Business?

If you are a legitimate small business then use your company logo.

Most companies have rules against the use of their copyrighted logo/images (check your contractual agreement). So I do NOT recommend network marketers or anyone affiliated with direct sales use their company logo as their profile picture.

Remember its about connecting with a real person!

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for an entrepreneur using social media to make connections and/or promote their business products or services NOT to display a real profile picture on their page.

Why Most Internet and Network Marketers Fail

Fellow Networker,

If you are having problems building a large team (getting new reps to join you) and creating a residual income, then PAY CLOSE ATTENTION!

The problems you have experienced are simply a result of not using the power of positioning to help people see you as the solution to their problem. The reason you are not dominating your market is not because there is something wrong with you, or with your company, or with your products and services.

You are just not using the proper positioning strategy to get people coming to you, asking for help with your products and services.

You see, one of the first key things to understand is that network marketing is a people-based business. It starts and ends with relationships.

That is one thing that most networkers understand – but the application that is taught by most uplines is all wrong.

People are taught to try and get their friends and family to “do them a favor”. They are taught to be secretive and elusive, to try and get their prospects on 3-way calls with the upline experts. They are taught to hand out free product samples, host home meetings and parties, and throw flyers on every car they see.

The average distributor is taught to say as little as possible, and just try to get their list of “warm contacts” to the local meeting or the party where the real expert (the upline guru) will present about the company and opportunity.

And that’s a BIG problem.

Think about it – if you try to do that with your potential business partners, what does that make YOU look like?

A leader?

Someone worth following?

Hardly.

That type of system positions you as a monkey – a gopher for someone else’s business. And remember – people don’t join businesses, they join OTHER PEOPLE.

And if you have positioned yourself as a tool for someone else’s business, then you now have positioning working AGAINST you.

Are you looking for a way to make money on facebook? Did you know that you can make money with your facebook photos? Are you an attractive woman posting your facebook photos for the world to see?

If you have a profile on Facebook and you are posting your photos on facebook you might want to pay close attention!

I see beautiful ladies posting their bathroom snapshots, casual and even professional modeling photos on Facebook all the time.

Most of these attractive (even non-attractive) women have even built a rather large male following (and even some females) by posting a wide variety of photos of themselves.

Your Sponsor SUCKS: A Message For All Network Marketing Newbies

I wanted to write this blog post to help people that are new to direct sales and the network, affiliate or internet marketing industry.

Let’s say you just joined your first network marketing company and you have not heard from your sponsor!

*sound of crickets*

24 hours later still nothing

No Welcome Email
No Phone Call
Nada

Your Sponsor Sucks, But Why?

Let’s take a closer look

Your sponsor makes $30,000 a month and has a team in the thousands. You are attracted to the big numbers, the promise of great training, the capture pages, and the flashy YouTube videos of this savvy marketer.

Mistake Numero Uno (Number One)

Without realizing your sponsor sucks, you make a decision to join directly under this powerful industry leader and heavy hitter.

Wait a minute, exactly how much attention do you think he or she will personally give you, Mr. Newbie?

If you expect to receive a lot of help from your sponsor directly you are fooling yourself.

Your sponsor’s direct and personal help is reserved for the committed—Individuals on the team that have already proven themselves to be future leaders by taking action and building their business on a daily basis. The results: their individual teams are growing exponentially and their bank accounts are getting fatter.

Time Out!

In this scenario it really comes down to time management.

Your sponsor sucks probably because most company leaders do not have TIME to answer your mundane questions about the company, the products, etc etc.

Unfortunately this is what a lot of Newbies do in the beginning, ask a lot of questions. Nothing wrong with that but believe it or not, most of your questions are all the things you can easily look up on your own. But guess what, you did not take the…TIME!

You see in this case your sponsor sucks because he or she values their time.

And you Mr. Newbie still have to learn that everyone’s time is valuable (including Yours)so don’t waste it!

What happens now? What do I do?

If you are committed to your business and changing your financial situation then,

-Don’t quit
-Don’t complain
-Don’t get discouraged
-Drive On

Your sponsor does not determine whether you fail or not in the business, YOU determine that! Prove to everyone that YOU can do it.

Repeat After Me

I can and will SUCCEED with or WITHOUT my Sponsor!

Even in this scenario there is still hope. Your sponsor sucks but you can still take advantage of the team training that your sponsor probably has already provided. Nothing will build up your skill sets other than MLM trainings from leaders.

Attend the training Webinars even if your sponsor sucks
Attend team Events even if your sponsor sucks
Reach out to and make Friends with other Team Members (Experienced and Inexperienced) even if your sponsor sucks. Create a team of contacts and friends from other company teams.

NOTE: Don’t forget the training and marketing material your network marketing company has also provided. Plug in to all of your network marketing company’s functions, calls, events, meetings, conferences and conventions.Through your own personal development you will grow and overtime your business/marketing skills will increase.

I was talking to one of my team members the other day and I asked her,

Can you manage your organization with 100 members or leaders now?”
