How to promote the products

Scentsy encourages using home parties to promote their product online. They also encourage their consultants to participate in open houses, fairs and trade shows, and fundraisers. However, many consultants also promote their Scentsy business online using social media or their own personal websites (not a company replicated website).

Scentsy Consultants begin every month being inactive.

They become active each month when they earn 150 points in PRV.

Three consecutive months of inactivity (less than 150 points in PRV in at least one month within each three-month period) will result in Consultant loss of downline.

2) Be in “current” status.

A Consultant who is active for one or more months within a three-month period is considered “current.” All current Consultants are eligible to place orders, receive commissions, and retain downline.

The Not So Good Stuff – Cons

Target audience is limited-primarily women.
To avoid being inactivated, each Consultant must sell at least $150 Personal Retail Volume Sales (PRVS) in product within a 3 month period (THREE CONSECUTIVE MONTHS).
Production based comp plan that will require heavy recruiting and building large teams to sustain and maximize income potential.
Requires consultants to reach $1000 PRV (Lifetime), in order to advance to the next rank (Certified Consultant).
Must have one active frontline consultant, $500 PRSV in a month, and $1000 Group Wholesale Volume (GWV) before qualifying for your downline commissions (Lead Consultant Rank).
Additional cost: To sell and/or sponsor outside of your home country but within your home Region, you must agree to an In-Region International Service Fee ($5 per month). Federal Trade Commission (FTC) doesn’t like revenue shares, non-physical products, and questionable network marketing companies.

Zeek Rewards was pretty much the same kind of company, and they were shut down by the FTC. So was Zhunrise (very similar cash back program), and guess what? Shut down by the FTC.

In my opinion DubLi is just like any other eCommerce and network marketing company.

It’s too early to tell whether the FTC will go after DubLI and send a bunch of inexperienced network marketers and business opportunity seekers running to an other network marketing company later.

For most people DubLi will be to steep of an investment to pursue.

But if you have the funds and interested in the eCommerce industry, then DubLi is potentially a business opportunity worth looking into.

High potential for an associate to receive a charge-back. This means that if a customer cancels their membership within the first 12 months, the rep will incur a commission charge-back, due to the customer falling off the books.
In the associate website, there is a $20.95 monthly upsell to purchase eService.

The Marketing System – How to promote the products

Skinny Body Care (SBC) encourages using the internet to promote their product online.

The marketing system that Skinny Body Care has is the powerline system.

The SBC powerline system currently offers twelve (12) different lead capture pages you can use to send your prospects to – 4 of them are designed for building the business and the other 8 are product focused.

These lead capture pages are offered for free ( (there is no additional monthly cost for the marketing system).

The pages have video integrated into them and are available in different languages (Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch, German, Russian, Hindi, and Mandarin with other languages coming soon).

They also have a completely automated follow-up email system built-in.

You don’t have to create or buy your own auto-responder and copy/create the email messages – it’s already done for you

The Cons

Requires that you have $50 of monthly Business Volume (BV) in order remain active as a distributor and participate in the compensation plan.
Most of the commissions don’t kick in unless you recruit someone into the company and the residual is tied into themselves bringing people
Matrix compensation plans can create what is addressed as “spill over, ” which is dependent on the work of those above you (i.e. your upline). This can potentially attract passive – or “lazy” – distributors that will make no effort to generate their business, but instead will simply wait to profit from the work associated from others.
Some customers have reported that they experienced nausea and stomach pains from the weight loss product.

How to promote the products

It Works! distributors host a “wrap party” as a fun way to share the It Works body wrap, other products, and the business opportunity with friends and family.

The party is centered on guests trying the wrap for themselves, relaxing with friends, and then finding out what ‘magic’ the wrapped worked!

Some distributors also promote their products through social media and use of the internet.

The It Works compensation plan is a unilevel with compression.

What is a unilevel plan with compression mean?

This means is you can only recruit people front-line to you.

The more people you personally sponsor, the wider your organization grows.

You also earn a percentage through a certain number of levels of distributors within your organization. The higher the rank you achieve, the more levels from which you can earn commissions.

Example: If a company decides to pay $0.50 of every dollar earned to distributors, it will not stop at a fixed depth level. This means that if distributors, who are too deep in the plan for you to get payment on normally, are inactive (do not qualify for a commission payment), then the remaining commission will flow up levels in the plan to the next qualified person and the complete $0.50 will be paid out.

Now the It Works compensation plan pays 10% down to two (2) levels deep.

You have the ability to earn on more depth in your organization as you advance through the ranks.

The company pays commissions to distributors each month based on the volume of their loyal customers, and their distributors, and their distributors recruits (downline), and loyal customers!

Successfully process a minimum $80 BV auto-shipment during the calendar month. (Just having a minimum 80 BV auto-shipment set up does not make you commission qualified, it must have already processed).
Have at least 400 Personal Business Volume (PBV).

Why 95% of Younique Presenters Are Failing

This may come as a surprise to some of you but I wanted to share with you an interesting new trend I am seeing.

About 95% of Younique consultants are failing to make a dime with their network marketing business.

In fact most are losing money.

I have several of close friends that decided to leave Younique even after successfully building their business in under 2 years.

The reason they have decided to leave was what I found most interesting.

It wasn’t the compensation plan, the products or even the Younique community ( I have heard horror stories on how Presenters are being treated)

They left because they realized the majority of their downline wasn’t going to be able to duplicate their success.

Their concern was for the people under them…totally unselfish.

Even though they were earning up to 6 figures they still had to work hard each weeknight or weekend hosting virtual parties and struggled to train their team on how to properly market on social media and generate leads.
