You might recall the story of a rich young man that asked Jesus what actions bring eternal life.

First Jesus advises the man to obey the commandments. When the man responds that he already observes them, and asks what else he can do:

21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.  [Matthew 19:21-22]

Here is how I personally applied this biblical example to create life changing income.

FIRST, Jesus told the rich young man “to obey the commandments”.

O·bey means to “carry out or follow (a command or instruction).” In order to increase your income, gain wealth or become financially FREE, you have to be able to carry out or ACT on the financial principles that already exist in this world.

These financial principles are blueprints or road maps for achieving financial freedom. Most of these income producing and wealth building principals can be found through reading books, watching videos and attending seminars. For example I personally listen to successful entrepreneurs and business people like Robert Kiyosaki, (Investor, Entrepreneur, Author, Financial Education Advocate)  and David Wood (Internet Marketer, Founder of Empower Network).

By following the examples, blue prints, road maps, instructions, “commandments” that these men have provided I have seen my income SKYROCKET and you can too!

SECOND, Jesus said to the rich young man, “If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven.

If you want to see results then TAKE MASSIVE ACTION!!! This is key for anyone seeking to break away from financial bondage and attain financial independence . You must be willing get rid of the old stuff and the clutter to make room for the new.  You must be willing to GIVE more than you RECEIVE! Give, Give, GIVE until it hurts!  Think about it like this….if you want to LIVE in a nice new spacious half a million dollar house don’t you first need to get rid of or sell the much smaller house you currently live in? Wouldn’t somebody else benefit from your smaller less expensive house? You can’t gain the wealth you seek until you set the conditions and take action!

FINALLY, Jesus told the rich young man, “come and follow me!”

If you want to be successful you must be willing to FOLLOW someone that is already AT where you would like to BE. Find a good coach and mentor (hint hint: someone like me). Learn from any good business person not necessarily a network marketer.

Simple easy to follow guidance, right?

Well when most people face the Truth they react the same way this young man Jesus spoke of in the bible did…

…But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

Are you going to react the same way the rich young man did?

If you are unwilling to do what it takes for you reach the next level of prosperity and live your dreams then don’t complain when you see others do.

Moral of the story… find a blueprint, a plug and play system, follow it and Take Action! Find a great leader or mentor and listen to what they tell you. Stay positive no matter what happens even if you don’t understand why they are telling you to walk an unfamiliar path!

Your success or failure, will rest squarely on your willingness to implement, and execute  proven financial principals.
